Solutions. That is how webPOS was created. As a successful eCommerce solution provider we had a loyal client following using our powerful shopping cart solution. But our loyal clients wanted more! We were asked daily for a solution for the retail "brick and mortar" stores that some of our clients operated. They wanted a web based POS (Point of Sale) or they wanted us to connect with a provider that offered the flexibility and value they enjoyed with us.

We approached a number of Point of Sale providers and found them more than willing to connect with our eCommerce solution. The problem with each of these systems included no hardware flexibility, no real time access, limited remote access, working on only one operating system and the forced use of the provider's credit card processing.

Down but not out, we put together a world class team of retail gurus to aid in the development of the first fully web based Point of Sale system. We studied many Point of Sale solutions and learned quickly why they frustrated users and business owners alike. We knew we had to create a new type of solution.

With our retail gurus creating a seemingly insurmountable list of functionality requirements, our web based software developers started creating history. In less than a year they unveiled a first of its kind solution that allowed retailers to simultaneously manage their retail and eCommerce operations from any web connected computer, anywhere in the world.

Today

In time the word spread and webPOS garnered support, recognition, awards and a legion of clients in the US. But before long this new approach to retail business management jumped the borders to Canada and Mexico.

As webPOS looks forward to new markets, new challenges and even more powerful features and functions we know that our clients are the most important part of our business. That is why webPOS includes all revisions to all our clients, they are the reason we developed them.
