Follow the instructions below to configure your ID-Tech MiniMag Credit Card
Swipe:
- Plug the swiper into an available USB port on your computer.
- Download the driver for your swiper
here.
- Once the driver is downloaded, run the installation program.
- Once installed, click on the "Start" button in the lower left corner of
your screen, go to "All Programs", then "USBkbSetup", and click the icon "IdtUsbKbSetup".
- Click inside the field marked "Input Setup String", and copy and paste
in the following (without the quotes) "/e/d/fp 1".
- Click the "Send" button.
- Wait until the string is done sending and you hear the swipe beep, then
click inside the field marked "Input Setup String", and copy and paste in
the following (without the quotes) "/e/d/fd \enter".
- Click the "Send" button.
- Wait until the string is done sending and you hear the swipe beep, then
click inside the field marked "Input Setup String", and copy and paste in
the following (without the quotes) "/e/d/fb 3".
- Click the "Send" button.
- Wait until the string is done sending and you hear the swipe beep, then
close the setup program.
Your swiper is now configured and ready to use on the webPOS system.
