Follow the instructions below to configure your Star
thermal receipt printer:
- Plug in the thermal printer to your computer printer port, and to the power
supply.
- Download the driver for your printer
here.
- Once the driver is downloaded, run the installation program.
- Click "OK" on the welcome screen.
- Drop down the menu next to "Model" and select the "Star TSP613 Raster
Printer".
- Make sure the "Port" selection matches the port you plugged your printer
into, this is almost always "LPT1:"
- Click the "Automated Printer Install" button.
- Click "Yes" in the box asking if you would like to install the language
monitor.
- If this is the primary computer you will be using the webPOS system on,
and you wish to make the receipt printer your default printer, click the
"Yes" button in the dialog box asking if you would like to make this your
default printer. Otherwise, click "No".
- Click "No" in the dialog box asking if you would like to print a test
page.
- Click "Yes" to reboot your computer when the driver asks you to.
- Once rebooted, the printer is ready to print receipts.
You can now print from the webPOS system.
