Many of effortlessE's most successful sellers drive traffic to their effortlessE storefront via their eBay auction listings. In order to stay within eBay's linking guidelines, you may only link to your web store from your About Me page. This page can be edited/accessed by going to the My eBay portion of eBay and logging in with your username and password. There are two steps to driving traffic, the first is to add a section of HTML code prominently to your eBay listings, the second is to modify your about me page to include a link to your website. When people click through to your effortlessE storefront it will put a tracking cookie on their browser. If they then place an order with you, or any time in the next 30 days it will tell you in the order referrer that they came from eBay.

You can cut and paste the following code into your auction listing, replacing the two instances of EBAYUSERNAME with your own eBay username:

Then, you will copy this piece of HTML code into your About Me page, replacing www.URL.com with your website address, and the link to your logo, http://www.URL.com/images/logo.gif, with the actual link to the logo on your web site.
