Help Desk - Email Setup - Outlook Express
Click on "Tools"
Click on "Accounts"
Click on the "Mail" tab at the top of the dialog box
Click "Add"
Click "Mail"
For "Display Name", type the name you would like to appear on your outgoing emails
Click "Next"
For "E-mail address", type your entire effortlessE E-Mail address, as chosen by you during initial setup
Click "Next"
Click the drop down box that says "My incoming mail server is a POP3 server." and change it to "IMAP"
For "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:" type "mail.effortlesse.com"
For "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" type "mail.effortlesse.com"
Click "Next"
For "Account name:" type your ENTIRE email address, as chosen by you during initial setup
For "Password:" type your password as chosen during initial setup
Make sure "Remember password" is checked
Click "Next"
Click "Finish"
Click "Close"
Click "Yes"
You will see a list of folders. Click on the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
Click "Show" on the right
Click the "Non-Spam" folder, which is indented underneath the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
Click "Show" on the right
Click the "Spam" folder, which is indented underneath the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
Click "Show" on the right
Click the "Spam" folder which is
NOT
indented underneath the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
Click "Show" on the right
Click "Ok"
Click on "Tools"
Click on "Accounts"
Click on the "Mail" tab at the top of the dialog box
Click on your effortlessE.com mail account
Click "Properties"
Click the "Servers" tab at the top
Check the box near the bottom marked "My server requires authentication"
Click "Ok"
Click "Close"
