Help Desk - Email Setup - Outlook Express  
  • Click on "Tools"
  • Click on "Accounts"
  • Click on the "Mail" tab at the top of the dialog box
  • Click "Add"
  • Click "Mail"
  • For "Display Name", type the name you would like to appear on your outgoing emails
  • Click "Next"
  • For "E-mail address", type your entire effortlessE E-Mail address, as chosen by you during initial setup
  • Click "Next"
  • Click the drop down box that says "My incoming mail server is a POP3 server." and change it to "IMAP"
  • For "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:" type "mail.effortlesse.com"
  • For "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" type "mail.effortlesse.com"
  • Click "Next"
  • For "Account name:" type your ENTIRE email address, as chosen by you during initial setup
  • For "Password:" type your password as chosen during initial setup
  • Make sure "Remember password" is checked
  • Click "Next"
  • Click "Finish"
  • Click "Close"
  • Click "Yes"
  • You will see a list of folders. Click on the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
  • Click "Show" on the right
  • Click the "Non-Spam" folder, which is indented underneath the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
  • Click "Show" on the right
  • Click the "Spam" folder, which is indented underneath the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
  • Click "Show" on the right
  • Click the "Spam" folder which is NOT indented underneath the "Public Folders – effortlessE.com" folder
  • Click "Show" on the right
  • Click "Ok"
  • Click on "Tools"
  • Click on "Accounts"
  • Click on the "Mail" tab at the top of the dialog box
  • Click on your effortlessE.com mail account
  • Click "Properties"
  • Click the "Servers" tab at the top
  • Check the box near the bottom marked "My server requires authentication"
  • Click "Ok"
  • Click "Close"
